Jaime Heredía - 'El Parrón' - singing

Jaime Heredia Amaya 'El Parrón' was born in Granada in 1955 and learnt to sing by listening to his mother Rosa Maya, 'La Rochina' who sang in the Zambra caves of the Sacromonte, to his grandfather 'El Parrón', and above all his uncle, Juanillo 'el Gitano'. At the age of twelve he was already well known for his performances in the Gypsy caves of the Sacromonte and the famous flamenco club, the oldest in Spain, 'la Peña La Platería'. He went on to perform all over Andalaucía and throughout Spain in the theatre shows "Macama jonda" and "Sueño Terral". Continuing the family tradition Jaime taught his daughter Marina Heredia, now a popular flamenco singer, the flamenco art, a partnership that was explored in the TV programme 'Dawn in Granada' alongside the flamenco dancer Manolete with his daughter Judea, also a dancer.

Jaime has performed in India, China, Europe, America, Japan, Egypt and Morocco where he performed for the King. Jaime has participated in recordings such as 'Grana cante por Tangos', 'Villancicos del Sacromonte', Emilio Maya's CD " Temple' as well as his own CD 'Pan con Aciete y Azucar'

Juan Andres Maya - dance (professional)

Juan Andrés Maya was born in Sacromonte (Granada) in 1972, belongs to the mythic gypsy dynasty of flamenco artists "Los Mayas". Juan Andrés is the nephew of the great dancers Manolete and Mario Maya Since his debut "at the age of three years" in "Cueva de la Rocío" owned by his parents and at fourteen with the prestigious Flamenco Dance Company of "Cachado" in El Cairo (Egypt), Juan Andrés has celebrated his dancing for the last numbers of years in several festivals and theatres all around the world, the most important stages where he performed are as follows:
At the tablao "Café de Chinitas" in Madrid, together with the dancer "La Chunga".With the financial support of the Culture Ministry, Juan Andrés toured every single of the Spanish communities together with "La Chunga".
At the age of eighteen he assembled and presented his first Performance, "Passion", in Granada and the most important stages in the Community of Madrid.During the EXPOエ92 in Sevilla, Juan Andrés Maya collaborated with the famous pop singer Miguel Bosé in the show "XXI Century Young Stars", receiving great success.
In 1992 Juan Andrés assembled and presented his Performance "Contraste", touring the main theatres in Spain. He worked with the great singer Carmen Linares touring Jordan and Tunisia (1995).
In 1996 the King of Spain invites him to perform at the "Carmen de los Chapiteles". Juan Andrés Maya performs "Cautivo" at the "Alhambra Theatre" together with the famous dancers "Manolete", "La Yerbabuena" and Beatriz Martín (1996). Great success at the Lincoln Center of New York (1996). Touring Holland and Japan (1996).
Back in Spain, Juan Andrés presented his Performance "Raices" with the financial support of the Duchess of Alba(1996). In 1997 Juan Andrés performed "Gernika" together with the great Antonio Canales under the direction of Lluis Pascual. Once again in New York with the "Flamenco Vivo Dance Company" (1997). In 1998 he presented at the "Café de Chinitas" in Tokio his "Gypsies from Sacromonte".
At the theatre "Colegio de Médicos" in Madrid with his Flamenco Company Juan Andrés Maya (1999).


Juan Ramirez - dance

Juan Navas Salguero, “Ramírez” (Mérida, 1959) has had a long career in flamenco dance, but as a youth he started out as a singer with the greatest maestros of the era. In 1985 he participated in a European tour with Paco de Lucía and in 1986 won the “Pastora Imperio” prize at the Córdoba contest. The versatile artist never looked back and has been offering his shows throughout Spain with the country’s biggest stars. Now he has made a first recording for which he composed the words and music and even sings most of the themes.

A lo largo del 2007 impartí un curso de Sevillanas, Bulería y Alegrías (nivel inicial e intermedio) Japón. Actualmente imparto clases de baile de flamenco en el Estudio : Escuela Flamenca de Emilio Maya .
