Escuela de Emilio Maya is situated in the heart of the Albaicin in Plaza San Miguel Bajo where everyone gathers to enjoy the sun with good food and wine.
Emilio Maya, the most sought after flamenco guitarist in Granada, opened his school in Spring 2007.
The school offers :

• Guitar tuition - all levels
  A wide variety of flamenco guitar classes is available with a unique emphasis on improvisation for flamenco, accompanying baile (dance) and cante( song), guitar technique class and a preparatory course for solo recitals.
• Baile (flamenco dance) - all levels
• Cante (flamenco singing)
• Compas
• Music theory
• Violin lessons
• Language classes available to supplement your Flamenco experiences. In addition, a translator is available to accompany during classes upon your request.
